The Samdrup Jongkhar Thromde Administration signed a contract agreement with M/s. Shambhala and Chhimi RD Construction Private Limited (JV) for the work "Construction of Dewathang Water Supply Augmentation Project" at a cost of Nu. 124,618,871.71 on April 11, 2023.

The project is expected to benefit the whole public including the Government, Cooperation and Private institutions. The project is being implemented with the financial support from the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The duration of the project is for 18 months and is expected to complete by October, 2024.
