A consultation meeting regarding the current state of tourism in Bhutan, with a specific focus on Samdrup Jongkhar Thromde's efforts and challenges, was held today at the Thromde conference hall. The Economic Affairs Committee (EAC) of the National Council of Bhutan led the discussions, which included participation from key sector heads. The meeting facilitated the sharing of critical obstacles hindering the growth of the tourism sector in Samdrup Jongkhar.

Following the meeting, the team also conducted a site visit at the Integrated Check Post (ICP)
