To mark the birth of Her Royal Highness, Samdrup Jongkhar Thromde celebrated the day with a small celebration at Samdrup Jongkhar Thromde Astro Turf. The program was joined by Lam Neten of Samdrup Jongkhar Dratshang, Dasho Dzongda, Dasho Drangpon, Dasho Gupda, Dasho SP, Staffs from Dzongkhag Administration, Thromde Administration, Teachers and Students of Samdrup Jongkhar HSS and Samdrup Jongkhar Primary School and the general public.

The program began with the National Anthem, offering of prayers and lighting of butter lamps, followed by cake cutting, and cultural programs .
